Project Goals
Sunrise was asked to develop software to control eight Multi-Sample Osmometers and a robotic Tube Handling System.
Sunrise Labs Solution
- Developed control software including interface between the osmometers and a separate automated pipetting system to exchange sample identification, e.g. test results and equipment status
- Programmed robot for automated, unattended operation
- Created and implemented algorithms for to address error functions and recovery
- Easy to use GUI provides osmometer status and access to off-line operations such as calibration
Results
- Control software functioned smoothly
- Algorithms tracked errors for simple debug
