Sunrise Labs has so much to be proud of! We are celebrating our 30th anniversary! Founder and Chairman of the Board, Drew Sunstein, founded Sunrise Labs, Inc in NH to take advantage of accessibility to Boston as a key innovation hub. “For my business, I saw access to a high-tech workforce, to excellent universities, to high-tech companies, with opportunities for affordable housing and affordable commercial space. So NH was the obvious choice! For an active healthy lifestyle, we have it all – lakes, mountains, forests, and the seacoast. As a privately held company, with no outside investors, we could establish our own culture and set our own standards – we can do what is right for our clients and our employees. Not only exceed requirements, but we also make sure our designs really work for our clients and for their users. We can do the work we love, designing products for healthier lives, living in a place for healthier lives.”, says Sunstein.
Under the leadership of CEO, Eric Soederberg, Sunrise has grown to 100+ employees and expanded the Bedford facility to better support our client’s project needs. Additionally, we’ve acquired the assets of a design firm in RI, and plan to open an office in the South Boston area in 2022 to be even more accessible to our Boston clients. We’ve added User-Centered Design capabilities, and a Senior Clinical / Regulatory Advisor, and continue to grow our Software, Electrical, Systems, Quality, Mechanical, and Optical Engineering teams.
Sunrise Labs won first place in the 2021 ‘NH Best Companies to Work For’ competition by Business NH Magazine and has been in the top three spots for 3 straight years. “This honor acknowledges that our employees are deeply engaged in the exciting and meaningful work we do for our clients,” says Soederberg.
