As part of Sunrise Labs sponsorship of the Aspire Internship at SEE Science Center, Sunrise hosted a tour for SEE’s intern, David Chestnut. The Aspire Internship was created to provide minority students an opportunity to explore science as a career path.

During the tour, David was introduced to our Mechanical Engineering team member, Hannah Gray, who explained our 3D printing capabilities, as well as spending time with Software Engineer, Mike Baker to hear what it’s like to be a software engineer. Sunrise’s President, Eric Soederberg said; "This is one small step that Sunrise can take to support the racial equity movement by helping a minority student excel in the sciences and hopefully work with us or another R&D firm down the road.”
