Sunrise Labs Adds Industry Veteran to Growing Program Management Team


Bedford, New Hampshire -- July 27th, 2017 -- Phil Palmer joins Sunrise Labs, Inc., as Program Manager. Palmer will be responsible for managing medical product development efforts for Sunrise clients.

Phil Palmer brings over twenty years of experience developing medical devices and analytical laboratory instrumentation. His unique combination of broad technical background and solid project management skills have resulted in the commercialization of several products which have raised the bar of performance and the standard of care, while dramatically reducing costs and significantly improving time-to-market. He has developed light-based aesthetic and therapeutic medical devices, a point-of-care IVD digital fluorescence imaging systems, blood processing systems, and automated high temperature thermogravimetric analyzers.

Prior to joining Sunrise, Phil was the Director of Engineering at TA Instruments, a leading developer and manufacturer of high performance thermal analysis instrumentation. During his tenure, he managed several development and research projects. Before TA Instruments, Palmer was responsible for program management and proposal development at KMC Systems for a wide range of medical products, from blood processing systems, to Point-of-Care, and IVD devices.

Phil holds a BS in Chemistry from Ursinus College and PhD in Chemical Physics from the University of Pennsylvania.
