AUBURN, NEW HAMPSHIREJuly 12th, 2016 –New Hampshire Gubernatorial candidate Steve Marchand (D) visited Sunrise Labs, to discuss the state’s current economic condition and share his plan for making New Hampshire the friendliest state for entrepreneurs.

The primaries will take place on September 13th and the New Hampshire gubernatorial election will take place on November 8th, 2016.  

Steve Marchand is the Principal of SRM Consulting, a public affairs and strategic communications firm who has worked with organizations as diverse as the National Football League, AARP, SEIU, the Concord Coalition, and the U.S. Department of State.  Prior to that, he served as the Director of Corporate Relations for the University of New Hampshire, working with business leaders across the state to match industry’s greatest needs with UNH’s resources and expertise. He is the former mayor of Portsmouth, NH, and a former management auditor of local and state governments across the country. A first-generation American and native of Manchester, he now lives in Portsmouth with his wife, Sandi Hennequin, and two daughters.
