User Interface Designer

Position Overview
We are looking for a User Interface Designer with medical device experience to ensure that everyone who interacts with the products that we design has the best and safest experience possible. If you love a good design challenge, you'll love working with us!

You Will:
  • Collaborate with and guide clients to crystalize their UI applications needs
  • Develop Use Cases and Workflows
  • Create consumer/medical UX/UI designs for desktop and mobile platforms working with patients, clients, and medical professionals
  • Research user needs, develop personas, perform task analysis, craft and conduct interviews to create industry-leading user experiences
  • Generate UX and UI mockups, prototypes, wireframes, and workflows
  • Plan and perform formative tests and summative validations tests

We'll want to see:
  • Ability to create and refine wireframes, flow diagrams, and user-requirements documents
  • Ability to prepare and present design recommendations based on business goals, user research, UX/UI principles, and an understanding of the regulatory requirements of the FDA
  • Ability to participate in design and feedback sessions and generate design recommendations
You'll Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human-Machine Interaction, Liberal Arts, Humanities, or equivalent experience, Master's preferred
  • Minimum 2 years working in user experience in a medical software development/ product company environment
  • Experience with the medical device Usability process including formative and summative studies
  • Knowledge of current user experience and design methodologies and FDA requirements for UI/UX
  • Demonstrated ability identifying solutions to business problems using a design perspective
  • A desire to work in a multitasking, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to look for solutions and information in creative ways and convey complicated results and insights
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
