CFO / COO
In his dual role, Eric is responsible both for the company’s overall financial performance and for providing world-class support services to the Sunrise Labs team. He is a creative problem-solver who uses thoughtful analysis and strategic vision to inspire and lead companies and organizations.
Prior to joining Sunrise Labs, Eric was active in the Boston and NH startup ecosystems, where he provided mentoring, guidance, and contract CFO services to over two dozen startups in a wide range of technology industries, as well as providing support to 10X Venture Partners, NH’s leading early-stage investment group.
Before becoming involved in the local startup ecosystems, Eric served as the CFO of several technology companies. Prior to working in the video game industry, he served as the CFO of an engineering company, where he raised over $16 million to fuel the company’s growth.
In addition to his various CFO positions, Eric has had a number of other diverse and interesting roles over the course of his career. He founded a wine importing, distribution, and merchandising company, ran a manufacturing company, and was the project manager of a NASA astrophysics research satellite (the Extreme Ultraviolet Explorer).
Eric earned an BS in Chemical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Stanford.
