Project Support & Operations Associate

Sunrise is seeking a Project Support and Operations Associate with 1-2 years of relevant experience to collaborate with our Program Managers and Engineers to take medical devices from concept to market.  In this hybrid position, critical to our team, you will assist project managers with budget reporting, provide project management support, perform project financial analysis, support operations, and provide purchasing support.

At Sunrise you will:
  • Assist project managers in preparing budgets and tracking Estimates at Completion (EACs)
  • Build advanced level spreadsheets in Excel to analyze and present data
  • Provide project financial reporting and analysis to project managers and executive management
  • Help to maintain accuracy of time and expense data
  • Help to ensure that projects are informed of and follow the terms of the client agreement
  • Maintain project administration files, contract agreements, and budget tracking systems
  • Support Project team with Customer Product Documentation, such as Bills of Materials (BOMs), etc
  • Assist in purchasing of parts and services from Requisitions and BOMs, generate Purchase Orders and manage vendor relationships
  • Ensure that accurate records of purchasing and receiving are being maintained
  • Provide business operations support, working closely with Accounts Payable to track vendor purchase orders through completion
  • Undertake varied project organizational tasks and project financial reports as specified by Project Managers, Operations Support Manager, and CFO
  • Take a proactive approach to improving internal procedures

  • Strong math, computer and internet skills with an advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically MS Excel and Word
  • Experience maintaining and organizing data using spreadsheet software such as MS Excel and Google Sheets
    • Skilled in spreadsheet formula development, Pivot Table generation, and report formatting
    • Demonstrated ability to use critical and strategic thinking to resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate data
  • A bachelor’s degree in business or public administration or two (2) or more years of experience with project or program management support, cost accounting, financial analysis, or purchasing
