How to Enable JavaScript

The Sunrise Labs website uses JavaScript to implement a set of buttons and pull-down menus for navigating the site. If these buttons do not appear at the top of each page, JavaScript is probably turned off in your browser. Version 7 of Microsoft Internet Explorer has JavaScript turned off after installation.

Follow these steps to enable JavaScript:

Internet Explorer Version 7

1. Select Tools > Internet Options from the menu.
2. Select the Advanced tab.
3. Scroll down to the Security heading.
4. Check Allow active content to run in files on My Computer.
5. Click OK to close Internet Options.
6. Close Internet Explorer, then restart it so the settings will take effect.

Internet Explorer Version 6 or earlier

1. Select Tools > Internet Options from the menu.
2. Select the Security tab.
3. Click the Custom Level button.
4. Under Scripting, Active Scripting, select Enable.
5. Click OK to close Security Settings.
6. Click OK to close Internet Options.

Mozilla Firefox

1. Select Tools > Options from the menu.
2. Select the Content tab (globe icon).
3. Check the box to the left of Enable JavaScript.
4. Click OK.

Netscape Navigator

1. Select Edit > Preferences from the menu.
2. Click the Advanced button.
3. Check Enable JavaScript.
4. Click OK.
